I have been teaching yoga since 2002, emphasizing balanced and intelligent sequencing of poses including both challenging and restorative movements. Classes are held in moderate heat to warm up the body and reduce the risk of injury and feature upbeat music and a strong sense of community. I aim to create a welcoming atmosphere where students can deepen their connection with themselves. Each class ends with a short yoga nidra session.
I received my initial yoga training in the Bikram style and have since studied with Baron Baptiste and Rusty Wells, and taking inspiration from Stephanie Snyder's teachings. I have also expanded my studies to include aspects of chakra work, meditation, and self-healing, which I incorporate into my classes.
