I’ve been teaching yoga asana since 2002 with a focus on intelligent sequencing balanced by both challenging and restorative poses. Most of my classes are practiced in moderate heat to help the body warm up and prevent injury. With upbeat custom playlists and a strong sense of community, I hope to create a space where everyone is invited to find a deeper connection with themselves in a warm, welcome environment.
While my first yoga training experience was in the Bikram style, in the years since I’ve studied with Baron Baptiste and closely with Rusty Wells, and have been influenced by the teaching of Stephanie Snyder as well. In recent years I’ve expanded my studies at the Academy of Intuitive Medicine learning more about chakras, meditation, and self-healing and have incorporated these aspects of the greater practice of yoga into my teaching.
